Hazard Identification (HAZID) and Environmental Identification (ENVID)

HAZID and ENVID are structured review techniques for the early identification of significant hazards associated with the activity under consideration.

Typically the scope is broad and can address several topics, with the primary objective being to identify credible hazards associated with the project, activity or operation and assess the associated risks.

The HAZID / ENVID methodology is a structured brainstorming technique carried out by a multi-disciplinary team to identify potential hazard scenarios through the use of a comprehensive set of guidewords.

We can support a range of hazard identification and evaluation methods including HAZID, ENVID and HAZMAT.

Tailored to your requirements, we can provide co-ordination, facilitation, scribe and independent HSE / Safety engineer representation to ensure a robust and systemic identification and evaluation of potential hazards and major accident events.
